Hugh will be speaking about water changes and water chemistry testing results and solutions. Hugh will also demonstrate how he does his testing on their two ponds. Great way to start off our year. This will be the First of many upcoming meetings on learning the different ways of testing water, tips on bringing koi inside, koi health, and much more….. Free E.I.P.S. This Month’s meeting was moved one week earlier to give everyone the opportunity to attend the The Northeast Iowa Horticulture Chautauqua which will be held on Saturday, February 27, from 9 am to 3 pm at the New Hampton Middle School. Partial list of subjects speakers will talk on, Craft Mosaics, Pruning, Daylilies, Do it yourself landscaping, Josh Spece will talk on Hostas and Water Plants-Key to a Heathy Pond. Advanced registration by Feb 20 is $25 and includes lunch. The fee is $30 at the door. See page 5 for more details | |
